Recent Debut!
Check out the duo called “Dodree”, which is JYP’s first traditional K-pop girl group! The team name combines ‘dodri’—a traditional Korean rhythm—and ‘free’, an English word meaning liberty. Na Young-joo (age 25) majored in pansori, and Lee Song-hyun (age 22), who specialized in Korean dance, blended their talents for unique K-pop stages. The girls participated in KBS’s music competition broadcast ‘The Ddan Ddanra’ and placed in the top five!
Their debut song, ‘It Was Like a Dream’, which blends pop melodies with traditional vocal techniques and Korean dance choreography, was filmed in collaboration with the National Museum of Korea for the music video.

✦ JTBC’s upcoming Friday drama “Shining”, starring Park Jinyoung (GOT7) and Kim Min Ju is set to premiere on March 6 at 8:50 p.m. KST!
The story follows Yeon Tae Seo (played by Park Jinyoung), and Mo Eun Ah (played by Kim Min Ju) as they reunite and and rediscover the love they first had as teenagers (Source). The international platform (Viki, Kocowa, Netflix, Hulu) has yet to be announced.
✦ EXO Announces Stops For 2026 Tour, EXhOrizon!
The EXO tour, EXhOrizon, will kick off in Seoul from April 10 to 12 at the KSPO Dome. Following the Seoul stops, EXO will visit Ho Chi Minh City, Nagoya, Bangkok, Macau, Osaka, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Tokyo, Kaohsiung, and Singapore. The tour will conclude in July, and fans are hoping that Europe and American tour stops will follow. (Source)
✦ AxMxP Breaks 1st-Week Sales Record With 1st Comeback!
AxMxP, a rookie group under FNC Entertainment, made their return with their first mini album “Amplify My Way,” and has now set a personal record with the new mini album. According to Hanteo Charts, “Amplify My Way” sold an impressive total of 86,232 copies within the first week of its release! (Source)
✦ Seo Ji Hun Announces Military Enlistment Date
On January 28, Seo Ji Hun’s agency Management KOO stated, “Seo Ji Hun will enlist on February 3.” (Source).
Seo Ji Hun is known for his incredible acting, including his debut role in “Signal” and his leading roles in “School 2017,” “Begins ≠ Youth,” “My Youth,” and “Prison Playbook”. He has completed filming for his latest project in “All of Us Are Dead 2”, to be released sometime on 2027 or 2028, a date has not been confirmed. (Source).
✦ AIMERS (And Former Spectrum) Member Eunjun Also Announces Military Enlistment
On January 26, HYPER RHYTHM announced that Eunjun would be enlisting as an active-duty soldier in the army on February 23. (Source).
✦ Cha Eun Woo’s Agency Issues New Statement Regarding Tax Evasion Allegations
Previously on January 22, it was reported that Cha Eun Woo was investigated last year on suspicion of tax evasion by Investigation Bureau 4 of the Seoul Regional Tax Office and that the National Tax Service had notified him of an additional tax assessment exceeding 20 billion won (approximately $13,600,000) in taxes. On January 26, Cha Eun Woo took to his personal Instagram to address the issue and apologize (Source).
✦ Even three months after its release, “Blue Valentine” by NMIXX continues to climb charts! NMIXX has reached the Top 40 of Billboard’s Pop Radio Airplay Chart for the first time on January 27th with “Blue Valentine.” This is NMIXX’s first song to debut on Billboard’s Top 40, currently sitting at No. 38 (Source).
